The insulated centipede ladder produced by TID POWER is named for its resemblance to a centipede. Its design features a straight rod as the central main spine, supported by insulated pull ropes that bear the primary mechanical load and insulation strength. Several parallel insulated horizontal bars serve as rungs, running through the straight rod to support the climbing personnel. Compared to conventional live-line working climbing methods, the insulating centipede ladder can adapt to various terrains, effectively addressing the issue of inaccessible work sites due to difficult road conditions, such as fields, slopes, and grassy areas, where vehicles and machinery cannot reach. This ladder imposes minimal requirements on the geographical conditions of the work site, is lightweight, easy to carry, and offers convenient operation, thereby expanding new methods for live-line working climbing.
Features:
1. The main body is made of high-strength epoxy knitting + pultruded insulation tube, with excellent insulation performance, high strength, good rigidity, and minimal deflection under load.
2. The ladder steps can be made of round insulating tubes or Reuleaux triangular insulating tubes, featuring excellent insulation performance and high mechanical strength. The Reuleaux triangle Insulating tubes provide a larger contact area for foot placement, ensuring comfortable footing during climbing.
3. Insulated wind ropes are made of insulated nylon or silk, offering excellent insulation performance and high tensile strength.
4. The insulation centipede ladder structure is designed as a segmented plug-in and locking type, with an installation base at the lower end to secure the pole. Each segment has a height of approximately 3 meters, with fixed footrests, and comes with a waterproof and moisture-proof insulation cover for easy portability.
5. The insulated ladder can be equipped with an insulated work platform, allowing workers to stand on it for operations, significantly improving working comfort.
6. The main insulated tube is yellow, and the step insulated tube is fluorescent green or yellow.
